I miss you everyday 
in nearly every way. 
It's been four months since you left 
and it's left me rather bereft. 

We haven't spoken for a while 
and instead rely on text messages that seemingly lessen the miles. 
At times I flood your inbox like a fool,
in the hopes that you miss me too. 

So as you begin on your exciting journey,
